Actor | Musician | Comedian
Ezra Noel (they/them) is a trans-masculine stage & screen actor, singer, dancer, director and comedian. They currently reside in Brooklyn, NY, where they’ve been developing new works of theatre, performing stand-up comedy, and making weird art with their friends. Originally from a small town in Pennsylvania, their devotion to nature and community is always at the forefront of their artistic endeavors.
They hold a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from the Post Theatre Company at Long Island University Post. Their work as a performer is foregrounded in physicality, having extensive training in the Suzuki, Viewpoints, Chekhov, Lecoq, and Laban methods.
They collaborated with the New York Theatre Barn on recording the original cast album of Xena: Warrior Musical, and are featured on the live EP of Third Sex: a 1930s Transvestite Lieder.
They strive to create art that excites their inner child, and to redefine the classics by transcending binaries, structures, and realism. In an effort to marry their left brain and right brain, they also dabble in graphic web design. Check out their design page!
Recent performance credits include: Mxcast Cabaret (The Green Room 42), Into the Woods (Prima Theater), Third Sex: A 1930s Transvestite Lieder (Pete's Candy Store).
